The Tradesman PET/PST has been moved to the third week of May 2023, according to a correction notification issued by BSF on May 4, 2023. In the second week of May 2023, BSF will distribute the BSF Tradesman Admit Card 2023 for the Tradesman position. How to download BSF Tradesman Constable Admit Card 2023?
- Visit the official website of the Border Security Force (BSF) at https://bsf.nic.in.
- The ‘Admit Card’ option may be accessed through the ‘Recruitment’ menu.
- Fill up the appropriate sections with your application number and birth date.
- Click on the ‘Submit’ button.
- Your BSF Tradesman Constable Admit Card 2023 will be displayed on the screen.
- Verify that your name, roll number, exam date, exam location, etc.
- Please download and print a copy of the admission ticket for your records.

- The test itself will not be available online.
- Two hours will be given for this exam.
- One hundred multiple-choice questions (MCQs) will make up the test.
- The questions will be asked from four sections, namely General Awareness, General English, Arithmetic, and Reasoning.
- Each section will consist of 25 questions.
- There is no penalty for getting a question incorrectly, and each question is worth the same.
- The question paper will be bilingual i.e. English and Hindi.
- Candidates must score minimum qualifying marks to move on to the next stage of the selection process.

BSF Tradesman Hall Ticket 2023 Eligibility criteria
- Nationality: Candidates must be citizens of India.
- Age Limit: There’s an 18-year-old minimum and a 23-year-old maximum age requirement. For protecting groups, the government may provide an age waiver.
- Educational Qualification: Candidates must have completed the equivalent of the tenth grade at a regionally accredited institution.

BSF Tradesman Recruitment 2023 Selection Process
- Written Examination: Those who are qualified to apply will be invited to take a written test. The written examination will be objective type and will test the candidate’s knowledge in General Awareness, General English, Arithmetic, and Reasoning.
- Physical Efficiency Test (PET): Those who do well enough on the written test will be invited to take the PET. The PET will consist of events like races, long jump, high jump, etc. The events will vary based on the category of the candidate.
- Physical Standard Test (PST): Those who do well on the PET will next be asked to take the PST. The PST will consist of measurements like height, weight, chest, etc.
- Documentation: Candidates who qualify for the PST will be called for document verification. Candidates must carry all the required documents in original for verification.
- Trade Test: Candidates who qualify in the document verification will be called for the trade test. The trade test will assess the candidate’s skills and knowledge in their respective trades.
- Medical Examination: Those who do well on the trade exam will be scheduled for a physical. The purpose of the medical test is to make sure the potential employee is in good health and mind to carry out the responsibilities of the craftsman position.
- Final Merit List: The final merit list will be prepared based on the candidate’s performance in the written examination, PET, PST, trade test, and medical examination. Candidates who feature in the merit list will be appointed as tradesmen in BSF.
